I graduated in 1984, from The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in Edmonton, Alberta. I joined Mission Ridge Animal Hospital in 2001, and my favourite thing about the clinic is the team here are all very devoted and passionate about what they do. It is deeply rooted in the community and has a sincere interest in helping cultivate the bond between pet and owner.
My first pet was a Labrador-mix named Lucas. What I love most about my job is being able to help people and pets at the same time! A fun fact about me is that my nickname has always been “Red,” whatever I do or wherever I go, it seems to follow me. I have a hopeless addiction to Labrador Retrievers. I have had a chocolate Labrador named Lucas, a yellow Labrador named Charles, and now a black Labrador named Gerdie.
